SWAMP FEST: Building Something Bigger Than a Festival

SWAMP FEST: Building Something Bigger Than a Festival

Hosted by DJ 3o7, Blak Hustle, and Black Goo

On June 6, SWAMP FEST officially came to life.

What started as an idea between creators became a real event that brought together music, motorsports, competition, and community in one space. From ATV rides and live boxing to local artist performances, DJs, food vendors, and a midnight bonfire, SWAMP FEST was built around one idea: creating opportunities for independent artists and giving people an experience they couldn’t find anywhere else.

Headlined by Will Tha Rapper, the event welcomed approximately 50 attendees throughout the day. While it wasn’t the largest crowd, it proved something much more important:

Independent creators don’t have to wait for permission to build their own stage.

What Happened at SWAMP FEST

Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed:

  • Live performances from independent artists
  • A headlining performance by Will Tha Rapper
  • DJ sets from DJ 3o7 and DJ Ant
  • Live boxing
  • ATV rides
  • Food vendors
  • A bonfire that lit up the night

One of the most memorable moments came as the bonfire was finally lit after sunset, bringing everyone together to close out the evening. It was a reminder that SWAMP FEST isn’t just about music—it’s about creating an atmosphere where people can connect, celebrate creativity, and experience something different.

More Than Just an Event

SWAMP FEST wasn’t designed to copy another festival.

It was created to explore what happens when artists, DJs, entrepreneurs, and supporters build something for themselves.

Every independent artist dreams about performing in front of larger audiences, but every major festival started somewhere. SWAMP FEST represents that first step—creating opportunities instead of waiting for them.

The goal has never been to throw one event.

The goal is to build a platform that grows every year.

Lessons From Year One

Every first chapter teaches you something.

SWAMP FEST showed us what worked, what people enjoyed, and where we have room to improve. Events like this are built one experience at a time, and every lesson helps shape the next one.

Our vision moving forward is simple:

  • Better production
  • More vendors
  • More community partnerships
  • More artist opportunities
  • More experiences throughout the day
  • An even stronger atmosphere for everyone involved

Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It happens by learning, improving, and coming back better than before.

Community Over Clout

One thing became clear throughout the day:

Community will always matter more than clout.

Whether someone came to perform, support a friend, ride ATVs, watch the boxing matches, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, every person helped make SWAMP FEST possible.

This festival exists because people believed enough to show up.

This Is Only the Beginning

SWAMP FEST has never been about one event.

It’s about creating a tradition.

As we continue planning future editions, our goal is to expand every part of the experience through stronger production, additional vendors, sponsorships, more artist opportunities, and unforgettable moments for everyone who attends.

If you believe in independent creativity, community, and building something bigger than yourself, you’re already part of what SWAMP FEST represents.

We’re just getting started.
