Mission
Community Cookout is a family-friendly community event that brings together music, service, and local organizations to collect donations for people experiencing homelessness while showcasing local artists and demonstrating Temple Hills Swim Club as a community gathering place.

Guests are encouraged to bring one of the following:

- Hygiene kits

All donations will be distributed during outreach at Malcolm X Park.
Entertainment
- DJ throughout the event
- Artist Showcase
- Maximum 10 artists
- Up to 3 songs per artist (or fewer)
- Open Mic after showcase
- Community DJ set
- Invite additional DJs to volunteer and participate

We need to leave today’s meeting with owners for:

- Setup/tear down

No task should leave the meeting without an owner.
