What tomorrow’s PRODject X should produce

Don’t complicate tomorrow with a giant media operation. Capture a reliable minimum package:

Before doors

  • Empty-room venue reveal
  • Television/slideshow working
  • DJ setup and producer stations
  • Team preparing
  • Each producer introducing themselves in one sentence
  • “Tonight at PRODject X…” introduction from you or Deja

During the event

  • Wide, stable phone recording of every producer
  • Close-up of hands/equipment
  • Crowd reacting to beat drops
  • Artists freestyling, dancing or connecting
  • You DJing and hosting
  • Deja operating behind the scenes
  • Three to five strong vertical clips per featured producer
  • One continuous crowd walkthrough
  • Genuine networking moments

Immediately afterward

Ask several people:

  • “Describe PRODject X in three words.”
  • “What was your favorite beat?”
  • “Who did you meet tonight?”
  • “Would you come to another one?”
  • “What opportunity does the DMV producer community need?”

Also record:

  • Producer reaction after completing their set
  • Winner/standout announcements, if applicable
  • Team closing message
  • Next-event call to action
  • Group photograph and team photograph

The key is pairing performance footage with human testimony. Performance shows what happened; testimony explains why it mattered.
